Gross!
Matt and T1 found a pellet of owl barf the other day and brought it home so we could dissect it. I found an article online that listed the top 10 reasons an owl shouldn't be kept as a pet. Reason number 4 was: "Feathers and pellets show up in the darndest places." It explained that owls throw up a pellet of undigested fur and bones once a day. So, when we dissected our pile of puke, we found tons of fur, 12 jaw bones, many leg bones, and even a little skull. Check out the pictures below and give thought to how much fun it is to live in a house full of boys!
