Bye bye adenoids!

T3 had his adenoids removed last Friday -- yeah! The doctor said his ademoids were so large that they basically prevented any drainage from going down his throat. I guess that's why we were always dealing with major mocos. We're expecting fewer sinus infections now that the adenoids are gone, but time will tell. Overall, the surgery went well, but T3 was very mad when the anesthesia started wearing off. He kept trying to pull the IV out of his arm, he was throwing everything off of him, he glared at the nurses, he cried, etc. It was sad watching him go through that, but the doctor assured us he wouldn't remember a thing. Unfortunately, another byproduct of the anesthesia was post-op puking. He threw up exorcist style several times--ICK! Not surprisingly, however, the surgery and anesthesia didn't affect him for long. By early afternoon he had a huge appetite (he ate both his and Travis's sandwiches) and was back to being his crazy self and getting into trouble. He even punctured his tongue later that day while horsing around with his toys. He was unphased by everything. Wish I could say the same for me...
