Christmas 2009

We've been missing from the blogosphere for several weeks now, mainly because of the craziness of the holidays. What were some of the big hits this year? Spending time with family. The anticipation of Santa. Singing Christmas carols. The Christmas lights at the electrician's house down the street. Eggnog. Snow globes. Oh, and of course, the gifts... T1 raked in cash he plans on using to buy decorations for his room. He was also given a leather jacket, trendy tennis shoes, design software, a homemade blanket, and a down comforter. T2 and T3 got a lot of toys, books, and clothes, and all the boys were given piggy banks filled with money (great idea!). All in all, I'd say they fared pretty well! When the Christmas tree came down a few days ago, the little ones became sad and immediately started counting down until next Christmas. Like them, I'm also sad it's over, but we need to rest and recover and look forward to doing it all again next year.
